Dr Rab Nawaz is born in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. He graduated from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Malaysia with a PhD in Applied Science. His area of expertise is environmental remediation, photocatalytic and electrocatalytic water and atmospheric pollutants abatement and environmental impact assessment. In addition to supporting three research projects, he has contributed more than 35 articles for journals, conference proceedings, books, and book chapters. He has received recognition from the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Malaysia for two consecutive years (2019 & 2020) for exceptional publications. At numerous institutions, he has served in a variety of roles, including team leader, senior research associate, graduate assistant, and graduate research assistant. He is currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the National University of Malaysia.
