BIOGRAFI /BIOGRAPHY

Swee Su adalah pakar yang mahir dalam elektrokimia mikrobial, dengan fokus utama pada peningkatan penyelesaian air bersih dan pembangunan sistem tenaga yang boleh diakses dan bersih melalui Teknologi Elektrokimia Mikrobial (MET). Penglibatannya yang aktif meluas kepada penciptaan sensor berasaskan elektrokimia mikrobial untuk memantau kualiti air tercemar dan air sisa. Sensor ini tidak hanya mengesan ketidaknormalan tetapi juga memainkan peranan penting dalam melindungi kemudahan rawatan air sisa dengan mengenal pasti masalah yang mungkin timbul. Terlibat dalam penyelidikan asas, Swee Su komited untuk mengenal pasti bahan terbaik untuk sensor dan kegunaannya dalam MET, termasuk penemuan bahan untuk prestasi sensor yang lebih baik dan pengintegrasian mereka ke dalam MET untuk aplikasi seperti pengurangan CO2 dan penjanaan tenaga. Kerja Swee Su mencerminkan komitmen terhadap penyelesaian inovatif dalam elektrokimia mikrobial dengan aplikasi praktikal dalam rawatan air, penjanaan tenaga, dan pemantauan alam sekitar.
Swee Su is a proficient expert specializing in microbial electrochemistry, with a primary focus on advancing clean water solutions and developing affordable, environmentally friendly energy systems through Microbial Electrochemical Technologies (METs). His active involvement extends to the creation of microbial electrochemical-based sensors designed for monitoring the quality of polluted water and wastewater. These sensors not only detect abnormalities but also play a crucial role in safeguarding wastewater treatment facilities by identifying potential issues. Engaged in fundamental research, Swee Su is dedicated to identifying optimal materials for sensors and their applications in METs. This includes exploring materials for enhanced sensor performance and their integration into METs for applications such as CO2 reduction and power generation. Swee Su`s work reflects a commitment to innovative solutions in microbial electrochemistry with practical applications in water treatment, energy generation, and environmental monitoring.
