Beliau ialah seorang saintis bahan yang pakar dalam bahan lignoselulosa, nanoteknologi, dan biopolimer lestari. Beliau memperoleh Ph.D. pada tahun 2016 dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) dengan penyelidikan mengenai pra-rawatan pulpa teras Kenaf untuk penghasilan selulosa terjana semula, yang menyumbang kepada kemajuan dalam membran, hidrogel, dan aerogel. Beliau memperoleh pengalaman penyelidikan antarabangsa melalui program fellowship Erasmus Mundus (ALFABET) di Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland (2016–2017), di mana beliau mengkaji teknologi kayu dan penghasilan papan gentian berketumpatan tinggi, serta penyertaan penyelidikan di Chungnam National University, Korea Selatan (2015), yang memberi fokus kepada biobahan. Perjalanan profesionalnya merangkumi peranan sebagai pegawai penyelidik dan penyelidik pasca doktoral di Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), di mana beliau menyumbang kepada projek pembungkusan makanan biodegradasi dan pengubahsuaian nanoselulosa. Kini, beliau giat menjalankan penyelidikan mengenai bahan berasaskan nanoselulosa untuk aplikasi lestari, terutamanya dalam komposit biodegradasi dan teknologi hijau. Beliau telah menerbitkan beberapa penerbitan berimpak tinggi serta menyertai banyak persidangan antarabangsa, memberikan sumbangan yang signifikan dalam bidang bahan lestari dan biomaterial maju.
She is a materials scientist specializing in lignocellulosic materials, nanotechnology, and sustainable biopolymers. She earned her Ph.D. in 2016 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), focusing on Kenaf core pulp pretreatment for regenerated cellulose production, contributing to advancements in membranes, hydrogels, and aerogels. She gained international research experience through an Erasmus Mundus (ALFABET) fellowship at Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland (2016–2017), where she worked on wood technology and high-density fiberboard production, and a research attachment at Chungnam National University, South Korea (2015), focusing on bio-based materials. Her professional journey includes roles as an assistant research officer and postdoctoral researcher at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), where she contributed to the projects on biodegradable food packaging and nanocellulose modification. Currently, she is actively conducting research on nanocellulose-based materials for sustainable applications, particularly in biodegradable composites, and green technology. She has authored several high-impact publications and participated in numerous international conferences, making significant contributions to the field of renewable and advanced biomaterials.
