Biografi/ Biography :
I completed my undergraduate degree in B. Optom (Hons) in August 1986. I then joined National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, UKM) Optometry Programme in September 1986 as a tutor. I went to do my PhD at University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST) in UK in December 1989 and completed my PhD in December 1991. I served in UKM as lecturer from 1991 to 2000; as Associate Professor from 2000 to 2012 and as Professor from 2012 to date. My PhD was on colour perception and my main areas of research currently are in colour vision, psyshophysics, dyslexia, myopia and visual dysfunction in pathology.
