Biografi/ Biography :
29 years of teaching and research experience since 1992 with UKM, with short experience as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Lecturing and researching on Constitutional law, legal theories, human rights, judicial independence, accountability and ethics. Research interest is in the area of Constitution and ethnic relations, federalism, rights and freedom, judicial accountability and law and society. Research projects are on Federalism and Social Cohesion in Malaysia, International Convention on Elimination of Discrimination (ICERD) with Department of National Unity, Freedom of Information the Legal Dimension under the Fundamental Research Grants Ministry of Higher Education and Towards the Formation of Ethnic Relations in Malaysia (MESRA) with Institute of Ethnic Studies UKM. She headed the research on The Status of Legal Education in Malaysia commissioned by the Ministry of Education Malaysia in 2013 and 2017.
Served as the Deputy Dean for 5 years (2009-2014) , coaching the students for Moot competition and advocacy skills. Spreading awareness on academic staff welfare by serving as the Secretary, Academic Staff Association 2007-2011, Deputy President 2011/2013 and President, Academic Staff Association (PKAUKM) 2012/14 and 2019/21. Members of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board 2013 until today. Committee Members of International Humanitarian Law, Red Cross and Red Crescent, Malaysia, 2015 till today. Chairman of International Humanitarian Role Play Competition National Level and Southeast Asia Region 2014 till today.
