Biografi/ Biography :
Bashirah Ishak is currently a senior lecturer in Centre for Community Health Studies, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She graduated from UKM with BSc(Optom) in 1992 and MSc(Optom) in 1998, with a research on color vision and radiation. She obtained her PhD (Optometry) in 2013. She specializes in contact lenses, cornea and tears analysis.
