   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Mohammad B. Kassim, lulusan sarjanamuda (kepujian) Sains Kimia dengan Tenaga & Bahanapi (1993) dari Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Kanada dan Sarjana Sains (Kimia) (2005) dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Dia dianugerahkan PhD (Inorganic & Coordination Chemistry) oleh University of Bristol, United Kingdom pada tahun 2003. Pada masa ini, beliau berkhidmat sebagai Dekan Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi (2018-2021) dan sebelumnya dilantik sebagai Profesor Pelawat di University of Tsukuba (2019), Profesor yang Dilantik Khas di Universiti Osaka (2018), Profesor Pelawat di Universiti Gifu ( 2017), dan Penyelidik Pelawat di University of Sheffield (2011). Dia mempunyai kepakaran dalam kimia koordinasi, elektronik molekul, elektrokimia foto, dan penukaran & penggunaan CO2. Beliau adalah pengasas dan Ketua Kumpulan Penyelidikan Hidrogen Solar sehingga kini.
    Mohammad B. Kassim, graduated with a B. Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry with Energy & Fuel Science in 1993 from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada and Master of Science (Chemistry) in 2005 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He was conferred a PhD (Inorganic & Coordination Chemistry) by University of Bristol, United Kingdom in 2003. Currently, he serves as a Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology (2018 – 2021) and was previously appointed as a Visiting Professor at University of Tsukuba (2019), Specially Appointed Professor at Osaka University (2018), Visiting Professor at Gifu University (2017), and Visiting Researcher at the University of Sheffield (2011). He specialised in coordination chemistry, molecular electronics, photo-electrochemistry, and conversion & utilization of CO2. Curretly, he is the founder and leader for Solar Hydrogen Research Group.
