Biografi/ Biography :
Alfizah Hanafiah ialah Profesor Madya di Jabatan Mikrobiologi dan Imunologi Perubatan, Fakulti Perubatan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Beliau memperoleh ijazah sarjanamuda dalam Sains Bioperubatan pada 1997 dan PhD (Mikrobiologi) pada 2010 . Minat penyelidikannya ialah mengkaji patogenisiti jangkitan H. pylori, kanser gastrik dan patogen rintang antimikrob. Beliau telah menerbitkan artikel penyelidikan dalam jurnal antarabangsa dan kebangsaan dalam bidang epidemiologi molekul dan kerintangan antimikrob. Beliau telah mengetuai banyak geran penyelidikan universiti dan kebangsaan. Beliau telah menjadi pewasit untuk banyak jurnal antarabangsa dan kebangsaan.
Alfizah Hanafiah is Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, The National University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She obtained her basic degree in Biomedical Sciences in 1997 and her PhD (Microbiology) in 2010. Her research interests are studying the pathogenicity of H. pylori infection, gastric cancer and antimicrobial resistance pathogens. She has published research articles in peer-reviewed international and national journals in the area of molecular epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance. She has led numerous university and national research grants. She has been a reviewer for international and national journals.
