   Biografi/ Biography :

  • ROSSENI DIN received her PhD in Management Information System (UKM), Master in Computer Education (UKM), Bachelor of Computer & Information Science (CSU, Ohio), Dip. Ed. in Computer Science and Mathematics Method (UTM) and Certificates in Quranic Studies (UKM) & Qiraati Education (ABIM). She is an Associate Professor at STEM Cultural Research Centre, Faculty of Education, UKM. Her area of specialization is Instructional Design, Development, Evaluation and Modelling. Her interests includes 2nd Generation Statistical Analysis, RASCH & SEM. She lead the Personalized Education Research Group which practices universal design to produce 21st century teaching and learning that integrates values from the perspective of Risālat al-Nūr. Her experience include positions as Technician, VAX Consultant, System Analyst (1985-1991 CSU, Ohio); KPM-MIMOS Research Officer (1991-1993), Computer Science, Mathematics & Science Teacher (1993-1998 MRSM), Islamic Education, Quran & Qiraati, Pre-School Teacher (SMK Seri Setia, SRI ABIM Seremban and Tarbiyyatul Aulad Bangi (1998-2008) before beginning her full-time service at UKM as a tutor in 1999 and now a full-time academician since 2001. The primary output throughout the course of her academic career is the Universal Design and Agile Development (UDin) Model. The model consists of agile development model and the UDL-ID model, which contains two basic components of content and theory, plus three specific components, which are (i) pedagogy using problem-oriented project-based hybrid e-learning pedagogy (POPeye), (ii) meaningful learning strategy and (iii) value integration from the perspective of Risālat al -Nur.
