  •    Biografi/ Biography :

  • Saya seorang akademik, penyelidik, dan pendidik dalam bidang fisiologi manusia, dengan fokus kepada bagaimana persekitaran moden mempengaruhi kesihatan reproduktif dan adaptasi biologi. Penyelidikan saya meneliti kesan Wi-Fi dan radiasi frekuensi radio (3.5 GHz, 24 GHz) terhadap kesihatan reproduktif lelaki serta integriti DNA sperma, di samping meneroka intervensi semula jadi seperti Sarang Burung Walit dan madu tempatan Malaysia (Kelulut, Gelam) bagi kecederaan oksidatif, ketidaksuburan, dan Sindrom Ovari Polisistik (PCOS). Kajian ini telah disokong oleh lebih RM 2.8 juta geran kompetitif dan diterbitkan dalam jurnal antarabangsa berprestij. Selain penyelidikan, saya bekerjasama dengan Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) dalam memprofilkan kesan toksikologi Bahan Psikoaktif Baharu (NPS) dan dadah terlarang, menyumbang kepada keselamatan negara dan kesihatan awam. Saya juga aktif menyampaikan ilmu kepada masyarakat melalui media seperti Utusan Malaysia dan Malaysia Gazette, menjadikan sains lebih mudah difahami dan relevan. Di peringkat antarabangsa, saya berkhidmat sebagai Ketua Program Sosial dan Jawatankuasa Hal Ehwal Antarabangsa bagi Kongres FAOPS 2027 serta Editor Jemputan untuk Frontiers in Pharmacology. Berteraskan etika, saya pernah mempengerusikan Jawatankuasa Etika Haiwan UKM (UKMAEC) dan turut mengarang garis panduan etika universiti, memastikan kemajuan sains sentiasa bertanggungjawab dan berperikemanusiaan.
    I am an academic, researcher, and educator specialising in human physiology, with a focus on how modern environments shape reproductive health and biological adaptation. My research investigates the effects of Wi-Fi and radiofrequency radiation (3.5 GHz, 24 GHz) on male reproductive health and sperm DNA integrity, while exploring natural interventions such as edible bird`s nest and Malaysian honeys (Kelulut, Gelam) for oxidative injury, infertility, and PCOS. Supported by over RM 2.8 million in competitive grants, my work has been published in leading international journals. Beyond research, I collaborate with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to profile toxicological impacts of New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) and illicit drugs, advancing national security and public health. I also engage the wider community through media platforms like Utusan Malaysia and Malaysia Gazette, making science accessible and practical. Internationally, I serve as Head of the Social Program and International Affairs Committee for the FAOPS 2027 Congress and as Invited Editor for Frontiers in Pharmacology. Anchored by ethics, I have chaired the UKM Animal Ethics Committee and co-authored its guidelines, ensuring scientific progress remains responsible and humane.
