Biografi/ Biography :
My research interests lie in several areas of public health. My main areas of research are cost-effectiveness analysis and quality of life. I involved in a number of researches on health economics and quality of life in Malaysia. These include cost effectiveness analysis of cataract surgery, health care cost of smoking in Malaysia, socio-economic impact of psychiatric disorders and quality of life, the impact of obesity on health care costs and quality of life in Malaysia, quality of life impacts of periodontitis and cost-effectiveness of its management in Malaysia, cost effectiveness of diabetic patient empowerment programme on blood glucose control and quality of life, cost utility analysis of End Stage Renal Disease treatment in Ministry of health dialysis centres, Malaysia, cost-effectiveness analysis of breast cancer treatment in Hospital Tuanku Muhriz, projection of microeconomic consequences of chronic kidney disease stage 3 – 5 to Malaysia government, cost-effectiveness analysis of colorectal cancer genetic testing, impact of health insurance on management of chronic disease (diabetes type 2) in Malaysia.
