Biografi/ Biography :
Beliau terkenal dengan kepakarannya dalam bidang tingkah laku mencari kesihatan, penentu sosial, dan penyelidikan tindakan penyertaan yang berkaitan dengan kesihatan penduduk sebagai doktor kesihatan awam dengan 10 tahun pengalaman bekerja di Kementerian Kesihatan di pelbagai peringkat untuk perancangan berasaskan program pemantauan dan penilaian khususnya kesihatan ibu dan reproduktif. Beliau dilantik sebagai pakar rujuk di institusi pembangunan penyelidikan belia kebangsaan tentang kesihatan dan kumpulan kerja teknikal kebangsaan untuk pembangunan kurikulum perubatan kesihatan awam. Beliau menyertai ahli akademik di jabatan kesihatan masyarakat di UKM dan kini mengetuai kumpulan penyelidikan kesihatan penduduk di bawah Fakulti Perubatan UKM. Beliau adalah ketua unit kesihatan keluarga selama lebih daripada 10 tahun yang meletakkan banyak usaha untuk mempromosikan kesihatan keluarga sebagai sub-pengkhususan dan penyelidikan keutamaan untuk pembangunan negara. Beliau adalah ahli jawatankuasa peperiksaan pendaftaran Majlis Perubatan Malaysia dari 2023-2025. Beliau bekerjasama penyelidikan dengan Lembaga Perancang Keluarga dan Penduduk Negara (LPPKN) dan Institut Perinatal United Kingdom (Birmingham) dan dengan industri ROSCHE untuk geran penyelidikan dan MESINIAGA dalam pendigitalan pemantauan penjagaan kesihatan ibu.
She is known for her expertise in the area of health-seeking behavior, social determinants, and participatory action research related to population health as a public health physician with 10 years of experience working in the Ministry of Health at various levels for program-based planning monitoring and evaluation in particular maternal and perinatal health. She is appointed as the national youth research development referent about health and the national technical working group for the public health medical curriculum development. She joined an academician at the community health department at UKM and currently, leads the population health research group under the Medical Faculty of UKM. She is the head unit of family health for more than 10 years that put a lot of effort into promoting family health as a sub-specialization and priority research for national development. She is a committee member of the examination for Malaysian Medical Council registration from 2023-2025. She collaborates research with the National Board of Family and Population Planning (LPPKN) and the Perinatal Institute of the United Kingdom (Birmingham) and with industry ROSCHE for a research grant and MESINIAGA in the digitalization of maternal healthcare monitoring.
