Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Hasherah Mohd Ibrahim is an academician and a speech-language pathologist at the Speech Sciences Program, School of Rehabilitation Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences UKM. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne where she developed the first Malay normative data that is used to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of children born with cleft lip and palate. She has received grants to further expand on her research project and to strengthen existing clinical practices here in Malaysia. She also actively conducts workshops and programs in promoting awareness about the profession and advocates for early detection and management of communication disorders in children. She hopes to continue her work in the field of speech-language pathology and elevate the state of care for children and adults with communication difficulties in Malaysia.
