She is a Professor of Green Polymer and Polymer Composites, with more than 25 years working experience. She was a chemist in a water treatment plant of Coors` Brewing Company, US for 2 years. She pioneered Factory 2 and 3 of Top Gloves Sdn Bhd and started working in Bina Puri Sdn Bhd chemical manufacturing plant for a total of 8 years. She has published more than 80 journal papers and presented in more than 50 conferences. She was the Director of the Innovation Center and UKM Technology Sdn Bhd and had successfully commercialised more than 100 UKM innovations via licensing. She served several Ministries for policy making, guidelines, standard and development of entrepreneurial center. She had produced more than 40 distinguished scholars who are now serving the country.
