   Biografi/ Biography :

  • NORHANA ARSAD received the B.Eng. degree in Computer and Communication Systems and the M.Sc. degree in Photonics from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, in 2010. She is currently an Associate Professor with the Center of Advanced Electronic and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her research interest is in the investigation and design of fibre laser systems for application in spectroscopy, gas sensing, photonics technology and smart system. She is also active in engineering education and entrepreneur.
