Biografi/ Biography :
Saya adalah Pakar Perunding Pediatrik Perkembangan Kanak-Kanak, Ketua Pusat Perkembangan Kanak-Kanak (CDC) di Hospital Pakar Kanak-Kanak dan Pengarah Kursus Program Fellowship Klinikal untuk Pediatrik Perkembangan di Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Saya terlibat secara aktif dalam kajian penyelidikan dan telah menerbit di jurnal dalam bidang Perkembangan Kanak-Kanak, terutamanya Autisme dan ADHD.
Saya menjalani latihan sarjana muda saya sebagai pelajar perubatan di Hospital Guy dan St Thomas, Universiti London. Selepas tamat peperiksaan Membership MRCPCH (pengkhususan pediatrik), saya menyertai Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia sebagai pensyarah perubatan di Jabatan Pediatrik pada tahun 2004. Saya kemudiannya melanjutkan pengajian PhD dalam Epidemiologi Genetik di Sekolah Kesihatan Awam Johns Hopkins dan kembali berkhidmat sebagai doktor dan pensyarah di UKM pada 2018. Pada masa lapang, saya suka melancong dan meluangkan masa bersama keluarga.

I am a Consultant Developmental Paediatrician, Head of the Child Development Centre (CDC) at Hospital Pakar Kanak-Kanak and Course Director of the Clinical Fellowship Programme for Developmental Paediatrics at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. I am actively involved in research studies and have published in peer-reviewed journals in the field of developmental paediatrics, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
I underwent my undergraduate training as a medical student at Guy`s and St Thomas` Hospital, University of London. Following completion of my membership examinations in Paediatrics (MRCPCH), I joined University Kebangsaan Malaysia as a medical lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics in 2004. I later pursued a PhD in Genetic Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and returned to serve as a clinician and lecturer at UKM in 2018. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and spending time with family.
