   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Chang Fu Dee received his B. Sc. in Physics, M. Sc. in organic electronic from Physics Department, University of Malaya and pursued his PhD under the National Science Fellowship at The National University of Malaysia. He is currently working as associate professor at Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN), National University of Malaysia (UKM). He involved in setting up the first Molecular Beam Epitaxy research laboratory in year 2000 and growth the first high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) and Pseudo-HEMT epitaxial layer in Malaysia. He has more than 130 publications in the field of semiconductor and nanotechnology with an accumulation of 832 citations. He was appointed as honorary research fellow in Auckland University in year 2008 and National Chiao Tung University in year 2018/19. Currently his research activities include Nano-material synthesis and applications on sensors; Graphene quantum dot based non-volatile memory; GaN materials and device applications and study; sensor fabrication, characterization and application; GaAs, InP, GaN based materials (MBE, MOCVD) based compound materials and devices (HEMT, HBT); III-V/Si integration (GaAs, InP, Ge, SiGe,) and high power electronics (HEMT) applications.
