   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Mizhanim Mohamad Shahimin (Ph.D.) is a Senior Lecturer/Optometrist at Optometry and Vision Sciences Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UKM. Apart from her day-to-day clinical and teaching responsibilities, she also foreseeing the programme’s curriculum development and working closely with Malaysian Optical Council (MOC) as Panel for Programme Accreditation for Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA). She is passionate in her research on eye tracking and has been appointed as an executive committee member of the Asia Pacific Association for Research on Eye Movements (APAREM). She has strong inter-faculties research collaboration ties (Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities and Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment (UKM)) as well as with a government agency (MIMOS Berhad). Her research interests are in the fields of eye tracking, contact lens and teaching & learning in Optometry.
