Biografi/ Biography :
Associate Professor Dr Norasyikin A. Wahab is currently Consultant Endocrinologist at
UKM Medical Centre. She obtained her MD from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in
1998. She is head for 3 rd year undergraduate for medical student, UKMMC. Beside serves for medical faculty, she also serves as lecturer for dental student and Diabetic nurse educator course. She is a member of diabetic in pregnancy guideline, diabetes management in Ramadan
practice guideline, Obesity management guideline and Update T2DM guideline programs. She has been appointed as visiting Consultant Endocrinologist at the National Heart Institute since 2014.
Apart from clinical practice, teaching and administrative duties, she is also actively
involved in research mainly in the field of diabetes, adrenal and thyroid disorders in UKMMC and collaboration with other university / Malaysia Ministry of Health including international clinical trials relating to diabetes and metabolism. Her research interest includes diabetes in pregnancy, diabetes mellitus, adrenal insufficiency in stress condition and pituitary.
