Biografi/ Biography :
Dr Dian joined the Department of Pathology as a trainee lecturer after completing her medical degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway, in 2004. She obtained her Master degree in Chemical Pathology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2011. Her research interests include studies on big data in laboratory medicine, sepsis biomarkers, metabolic medicine, special proteins, endocrinology, and Laboratory Quality Assurance. She is currently the Treasurer of the Malaysian Sepsis Alliance (MSA), under the umbrella of the Asia Pacific Sepsis Alliance aiming to improve the outcomes of patients with sepsis, thus reducing the burden of sepsis in Malaysia. She is also a member of the Chemical Pathology Specialty Committee, College of Pathologists, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia and a member of the Malaysian Association of Clinical Biochemists.
