I am Shanthi Krishnasamy, a lecturer and a registered dietitian (RD) attached to the Department: Nutrition and Dietetics. I have worked as a clinical and community dietitian for 8 years in Malaysia ,Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. Currently I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses related to clinical nutrition and dietetics. My research expertise includes food and function and diet and digestive diseases particularly IBS. My research interests includes food insecurity, health and well being of children and metabolic syndrome.
