   Biografi/ Biography :


  • Dr. Fazlina Nordin is a distinguished academic and researcher making significant contributions to the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. As a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (DTERM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC), she holds an important role in driving advancements in this rapidly evolving area. Her academic journey, marked by a strong foundation in the biological sciences, includes a BSc. in Microbiology with Honors and an M.Med.Sc. in Pathology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, culminating in a Ph.D. in cancer studies from King`s College London. Dr. Fazlina`s research is focused on unveiling the complexities of stem cell niches, with a particular emphasis on induced pluripotent cells (iPSCs), mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), and cord blood (CB). Her work holds immense promise for developing innovative therapies to address a wide range of medical challenges. Beyond her research, she is a dedicated educator and active member of the scientific community. As an auditor and executive member of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Society of Malaysia (TESMA), Dr. Fazlina plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the field. Her expertise, combined with her passion, positions her as a leading figure in regenerative medicine
