Biografi/ Biography :
Muhammad Farihan Irfan Mohd Nor is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Architecture and Built Environmental, and currently also the department’s Head of Graduate Programme. He had obtained his Masters degree in Computer Aided Building Design and PhD in Architecture from The University of Strathclyde, U.K, where Building Information Modelling was the centre of his research work. Before joining UKM, he was a design & project architect at NR Architect and DesignPAC from 2003-2006. Over the years working in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, he has built expertise that includes Building Information Modelling, Computer Aided Architecture Design, Architectural Graphics, and Augmented Reality. Apart from that, he has led and involved in many research projects related to those areas. In terms of curriculum development, he was the department’s undergraduate and graduate Programme Coordinator for 6 years, and also the Coordinator of Accreditation that led the Bachelor of Science in Architecture (UKM) programme to its first accreditation assessment by Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) in 2009. Recently, the programme received a renewal of full accreditation status by LAM again in 2019 under his lead as Programme Coordinator.
