  •    Biografi/ Biography :

  • Ruzita Abdul Rahim merupakan Profesor dalam bidang Pengurusan Kewangan Korporat di Fakulti Ekonomi dan Pengurusan, UKM dan beliau merupakan mantan Pengerusi Pusat Kajian Perniagaan Global dan Ekonomi Digital (GloBDE). Bidang pengkhususan beliau adalah (i) Kewangan Korporat merangkumi isu Shariah dan antarabangsa dan (ii) Pelaburan termasuk dana amanah dan matawang kripto. Berkenaan penerbitan, beliau telah menyumbang kepada kepustakaan struktur modal, gelagat kewangan dari aspek penetapan harga tawaran awam awal (TAA), dana amanah, saham biasa, matawang kripto dan lindung nilai risiko matawang asing. Dengan perkembangan (r)evolusi teknologi kewangan (Fintech), beliau kini memberikan perhatian serius kepada Fintech, khususnya matawang kripto dan aplikasinya dalam Industri Perkhidmatan Kewangan , dan telah mula menjalankan penyelidikan dan menerbitkan impaknya terhadap Kewangan dan Pelaburan.
    Ruzita Abdul Rahim is a Professor of Corporate Financial Management at the Faculty of Economics and Management, UKM and was the former Chairperson of the Centre for Global Business and Digital Economy (GLoBDE) Studies. Her areas of specialisation are corporate finance, covering its international and Shariah issues, and also (ii) investment including in mutual funds and cryptocurrencies. In terms of publication, she has contributed to the literature on capital structure, behavioural aspects of pricing in the initial public offerings (IPOs), mutual funds, common stocks and cryptocurrencies, and hedging of the foreign exchange exposures. With the (r)evolutionary development of financial technology (Fintech), she has recently developed an immense interest in the technology, cryptocurrency and its application in the Financial service Industry and has started working on the conceptual and application aspects of these technologies in both Finance and Investment.
