   Biografi :
  • Amilia Aminuddin is a senior lecturer at the Department of Physiology in the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She obtained Medical Degree from UKM in 2004, Master in biomedical science (Physiology) in 2011 and PhD in Physiology in 2015. She is currently the head of Clinical Science Module for semester 3 medical students, the head for Unit Sihat Sejahtera and Unit al-Insyirah, Department of Physiology. She has multiple grants from faculty and UKM which cover several aspects of researches which include exercise physiology, markers of vascular functions and screening of CVD risk factors among the population. Her current research are i) developing an exercise module for fit CPR program, ii) measurement of aortic stiffness among dyslipidemia patient, iii) to study the association between muscle strength and aortic stiffness among healthy subjects and iv) developing new algorithm for finger photophletysmography fitness index. Her studies are mainly in human cardiovascular research.
