Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Maizatulakma Abdullah merupakan Pensyarah Kanan di Fakulti Ekonomi dan Pengurusan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, dan kini memegang jawatan sebagai Ketua Program Prasiswazah Perakaunan yang bertanggungjawab terhadap pelaksanaan kurikulum dan jaminan kualiti akademik program Sarjana Muda Perakaunan. Beliau memperoleh ijazah Doktor Falsafah dan Sarjana Muda Perakaunan dari Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, serta Sarjana Perakaunan dari University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Fokus penyelidikan beliau meliputi pelaporan kelestarian, pendedahan pengurusan risiko, tadbir urus korporat, dan perakaunan alam sekitar, dengan tumpuan khusus terhadap industri minyak sawit. Dari tahun 2018 hingga 2020, beliau telah berkhidmat sebagai Felo Penyelidik Pelawat di University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Sepanjang kerjayanya, beliau telah membentangkan hasil kajian di persidangan terkemuka di Eropah, United Kingdom dan Malaysia serta terlibat dalam pelbagai geran penyelidikan, termasuk sebagai penyelidik bersama bagi dana antarabangsa daripada Yayasan Jan Wallander dan Tom Hedelius, Sweden. Sebagai Editor Jurnal Pengurusan UKM, beliau komited dalam memastikan standard kualiti jurnal dan menyokong sumbangan ilmiah dalam penyelidikan perakaunan dan pengurusan.
Dr. Maizatulakma Abdullah is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, where she currently serves as Head of the Undergraduate Accounting Program, responsible for curriculum implementation and academic quality assurance of The Bachelor in Accounting program. She earned her PhD and Bachelor`s degree in Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and completed her Master`s in Accounting at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research focuses on sustainability reporting, risk management disclosure, corporate governance, and environmental accounting, with particular emphasis on the palm oil industry. From 2018 to 2020, she expanded her international experience as a Visiting Research Fellow at The University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. Throughout her career, she has presented research at prestigious conferences across Europe, The United Kingdom and Malaysia and participated in numerous competitive grants, including as a co-researcher for international funding from Sweden`s Jan Wallander and Tom Hedelius Foundation. As Editor of Jurnal Pengurusan UKM, she is committed to maintaining the journal`s quality standards and supporting scholarly contributions in accounting and management research.
