   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Rosnah Ismail is an accomplished Occupational Health practitioner and Public Health Medicine Specialist of Community Health Department, Faculty of Medicine UKM. She has more than 12 years of experience in protecting employees’ health, safety and welfare as well as facilitating employers to comply with rules and regulations in various industries. She’s so efficient at her job that she considers herself a “white angel whisperer”. She gives inputs from behind of the scene to the various scenarios at local level (e.g. industrial chemical waste dumping and COVID-related scenarios). She works well with senior and junior executives in first responder agencies. Her opinions are highly valued, people trust and respect her judgments pertaining to extra-ordinary event management. In particular, she focused on topics like incident command system and human-animal-environment interaction among front line employees. Because of her skills, Rosnah can produce productive and long-lasting collaborations with the first responder agencies. She wants to engage more with influential decision-makers and thought leaders in national public health policy. She`s open to challenges, conversations, and an exchange of ideas from the top players in the first responder agencies. Her long-term goal is to become a national-level advisor for any extra-ordinary scenario. She wants to use her untapped commitment to train more skilful first responder pertaining their role in incident command system especially in planning section chief as well as safeguarding them against hazards while responding.
