Biografi/ Biography :
Rosnah Ismail is an accomplished Occupational Health lecturer and Public Health Medicine Specialist at the Department of Public Health Medicine, Faculty of Medicine UKM. She has more than 15 years of experience in protecting employees’ health, safety, and welfare as well as facilitating employers to comply with rules and regulations in various industries. She’s so efficient at her job that she considers herself a “white angel whisperer”. She gives inputs from behind the scene to the various scenarios at the local level (e.g. industrial chemical waste dumping and COVID-related scenarios). She works well with senior and junior executives in first responder agencies. Her opinions are highly valued, and people trust and respect her judgments pertaining to extraordinary event management. Her current interest is firefighter health, wellness, and fitness. She`s open to challenges, conversations, and an exchange of ideas from the top players in the first responder agencies. Her long-term goal is to become a national-level advisor for any extraordinary scenario. She wants to use her untapped commitment to training more skillful first responders pertaining to their role in the incident command system especially in the planning section chief as well as safeguarding them against hazards while responding.
