Dr Suhaila Sepeai ialah Profesor Madya di SERI, UKM. Beliau terlibat secara aktif dengan R&D UKM dalam bidang fabrikasi peranti nanoelektronik, seperti diod pemancar cahaya organik (OLED) pada 2005-2007 dan sel suria silikon (Si) sejak 2008 sehingga sekarang. Beliau telah menerbitkan 90 penerbitan dan memperoleh satu paten pada sel suria dwimuka. Beliau telah menyelesaikan 8 geran penyelidikan sebagai Ketua Projek yang dibiayai oleh Kementerian Malaysia dalam sel suria silikon dan silikon-perovskit yang merupakan penyelidikan termaju dalam fotovoltan. Projek terbaru beliau mengetengahkan pembangunan teknologi termaju untuk sel suria silikon seperti sel suria dwimuka, sel suria Interdigitated Back Contact (IBC), sel tandem perovskit-Silicon dan TOPCON. Penyelidikan beliau selaras dengan perkembangan semasa dalam bidang sel suria silikon ke arah proses tanpa toksik, suhu rendah dan proses yang mudah. Beliau juga aktif dalam pendidikan tenaga dan STEM bersama komuniti dan sekolah. Program Celik Solar sebagai program komuniti merupakan salah satu inisiatif beliau.
Dr. Suhaila Sepeai is an Associate Professor at SERI, UKM. She actively involved in UKM R&D on fabrication of nanoelectronic devices, such as organic light emitting diode (OLED) in 2005-2007 and silicon (Si) solar cell since 2008 to present. She has published 90 publications and obtained one patent on bifacial solar cell. She has completed 8 research grants as Principal Investigator funded by Malaysia Ministry in silicon and silicon-perovskite solar cells which is cutting-edge research in photovoltaic. Her recent projects highlights on developing advanced technology for silicon solar cells such as bifacial solar cells, Interdigitated Back Contact (IBC) solar cells, perovskite-Silicon tandem cells and TOPCON. Her research in line with current trend in Silicon Solar Cell research towards toxic-less process, low temperature and facile process. She is also active in Energy Education and STEM with community and school.Celik Solar program was one of the community program initiated by her.
