   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Mohd Sukor Su’ait, PhD (Chemistry) is currently appointed as a Research Fellow at Solar Energy Research Institute, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and was named as chair for science communication working group of Young Scientist Network-Academy of Science Malaysia. His outstanding contribution has been acknowledged with MTDC Book Prize during PhD convocation in 2014. His research interests covered electrochemical materials for energy conversion and storage devices including solar cells and batteries. His potential has been acknowledged by The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Jakarta, Indonesia in July 2009 as “ASEAN Future Scientist” after been selected as “Young Scientist” to represent ASEAN, in the 59th Nobel Laureates meeting in Lindau, Germany. In 2011, he was selected for Erasmus Mundus program at University of Trento, Italy and later been promoted for attachment program at GeorgiaTech, USA (2012), Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco (2014) and also recipient of several innovation and travel awards. He was named as Merdeka Award Grant 2015 recipient for international attachment in EPFL, Switzerland, prestigious award for outstanding young scientist in Malaysia to further investigates the promising Malaysian main commodities in a solid-state solar cell. Recently, He is a certified Energy Manager by ASEAN Energy Management Accreditation Scheme (AEMAS), Registered Chemist with Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM), as well as Treasurer of ACS Malaysia Chapter 2018/2019 and also an advisor of ACS Student Chapter in UKM. Previously, along with his team, they won the silver medal at iFSC2016, ITEX2016, IIDEX2015, and bronze medal at the MTE2016.
