Biografi/ Biography :
Khadijah Alavi is an Associate Professor of Gerontological Social Work at the
Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, UKM. She is graduated in Anthropology from Universitas Andalas Indonesia, Master of Arts (Social Anthropology) University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and completed Ph. D (Community Education and Development) Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her main research and publication on the elderly caregivers; gerontological social work and care worker training and development. She also lead research on the National Aging Policy on Long Term Care 2030 framework. National level, her research partnerships with Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, Ministry of Human Resources, Ministry of Defence Malaysia. At the International level, she also collaborated with Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Indonesia; University Brunei Darulsalam; University of Nottingham Malaysia and MyflexHealth Australia.
