Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Ho graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in Malaysia in 2007. Following three years of practise as a general dentist in the Malaysian Ministry of Health, she pursued on a three-year postgraduate program, earning her Master`s degree (MSc) in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from The University of Manchester.
In 2014, Dr Ho took on the position of academic teaching staff and prosthodontist at the Faculty of Dentistry in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She heavily engages in clinical teaching for dental undergraduates and postgraduates, with a primary focus on the prosthodontics specialty. She has experience supervising numerous postgraduate research projects and contributing to peer-reviewed publications as both the main author and co-author.
Possessing a profound interest in clinical subjects such as prosthodontics, restorative dentistry and dental materials, Dr. Ho has consistently demonstrated a commitment to advancing dental education. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Health Education, complementing her educational efforts with sound pedagogical principles. Dr. Ho completed her PhD, titled “Introducing Standard Setting in Malaysian Undergraduate Dental Programme”, focusing on assessment, particularly standard setting in dental examinations. This research reflects her commitment to promoting fairness, reliability, and evidence-based practices in dental assessment.
Dr. Ho continues to pursue academic excellence and welcomes collaboration in prosthodontics, dental materials, clinical education research, curriculum development, and clinical training.
