  • Adila A Hamid joined the Department of Physiology as a lecturer after completing her Masters in Medical Science (Physiology) in UKM in 2011. She obtained her bachelor degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia in Biomedical Science in 2005. Her work focuses specifically on exploring the regenerative potential of stem cells isolated from adipose tissue and amniotic fluid using in vitro model. As a member in Cardiovascular Research Group in UKM, she also aimed to expand her research interest in investigating the potential of natural product as anti-artherosclerosis and anti-hypertensive agent and elucidating the role of miRNA in cardiovascular related diseases.
