Biografi/ Biography :
A senior lecturer and research scientist holding a BSc in Biomedical Science (Pharmaceutical Analysis) from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa (Malaysia), an MSc in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Tasmania (Australia), and a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine from the University of Birmingham (UK). The core research expertise lies at the intersection of immunopharmacology and neurogastroenterology, utilizing both in vitro and in vivo models.
The primary research focus involves investigating the regulatory mechanisms of the gut microbiota-immune-brain axis, specificallyon how this complex cross-talk influences the development of gut inflammation and the regulation of brain function, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets for related disorders.
