Biografi/ Biography :
Dr Aliza Mohamad Yusof graduated as Medical Doctor in 2003 and served as a Ministry of Health doctor before progressing into Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care postgraduate program. Thereafter, she held a post as a clinician at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia after completing postgraduate training as an Anaesthesiologist. She was always interested in Intensive Care Medicine as a subspecialty and pursued Intensive Care Medicine training via a parallel Malaysian Fellowship and Intensive Care Academy program. Currently, she works as an Intensivist in the Department of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care, Faculty of Medicine, UKM and holds the post of Head of the Intensive Care Unit and Chairman of Critical Care Services. She was also a certified transplant coordinator awarded by ODISSEA, a program specialising in Southeast Asia organ donation strategies. On top of her publication, she was awarded two first prizes in the World Congress of Anaesthesiologists. Her main interests were airway management, strategy in mechanical ventilation, COVID-19, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and organ donation.
