   Biografi/ Biography :


  • Knowledge on signalling molecules and the expression trend of numerous molecular regulators that elicit appropriate responses in cellular events including cytoskeletal changes, cell growth and division, matrix synthesis and degradation, differentiation, cell senescence and apoptosis are crucial in maintaining cellular equilibrium. Exploring the basic principles of how cells communicate with one another and how cell signalling pathways are subverted in pathophysiology of diseases is paramount in developing novel therapeutic targets. Scientific approaches are currently centred on elucidating the mechanism of action and consequences of specific protein expression modification that enable further manipulation for therapeutic targets. Stem cells and its derivatives (secretomics) are an enormous reservoir of signalling molecules that are fascinating to the scientific community yet not fully understood. Stem cells brought the means for personalized medicine therapeutic approach achievable. Therefore, understanding specific signalling pathway involved in pathophysiology of diseases i.e., rare diseases (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Vagina Agenesis) and non-communicable diseases (Cardiovascular and Neuro-degenerative diseases) and upon any introduction of a compound/protein/drug for treatment is imperative to ensure safety and efficacy of proposed therapeutic approach.
