   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Dr Mohd Idzat Idris ialah Pensyarah Program Sains Nuklear di Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Beliau memegang Ijazah Doktor Kejuruteraan dalam Nuklear dari Tokyo Institute of Technology, Jepun, mendapat ijazah sarjana dalam Keselamatan Sinaran dan Nuklear (UKM) dan sarjana muda dalam Kejuruteraan Nuklear (Universiti Kyushu, Jepun). Beliau mempunyai lebih 7 tahun pengalaman mengajar kursus sarjana muda dan pascasiswazah Sains Nuklear dan Kejuruteraan. Penyelidikan Dr. Idzat tertumpu kepada Bahan Nuklear, Perisai Sinaran, dan Kesan Radiologi terhadap Alam Sekitar, dan beliau telah menerbitkan banyak artikel dalam jurnal saintifik yang berprestij. Pasukannya telah dianugerahkan Anugerah Emas di Pameran Inovasi & Kreativiti Selangor 2018 (SLICE 18) dan Perak di Pameran Rekacipta Antarabangsa Seoul 2020. Beliau juga mempunyai keahlian profesional sebagai Ahli Teknologi Profesional (Teknologi Nuklear dan Radiologi), Lulusan Keuruteraan ( Nuklear), dan Pegawai Perlindungan Sinaran (Tahap 3). Pada masa ini, beliau adalah penyelaras Sarjana Pengurusan Keselamatan Industri.
    Dr Mohd Idzat Idris is a Lecturer in the Nuclear Science Program at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He holds a Doctorate in Nuclear Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, a master`s degree in Radiation and Nuclear Safety (UKM), and a bachelor`s degree in Nuclear Engineering (Kyushu University, Japan). He has over 7 years of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate Nuclear Science and Engineering courses. Dr. Idzat`s research interest focuses on Nuclear Materials, Radiation Shielding, and Environmental Radiological Impact, and he has published many articles in prestigious scientific journals. His team was awarded the Gold Award at the Selangor Innovation & Creativity Exhibition 2018 (SLICE 18) and Silver at the Seoul International Design Exhibition 2020. He also has professional membership as a Professional Technologist (Nuclear Technology and Radiology), a Graduate of Engineering (Nuclear), and a Protection Officer Radiation (Level 3). Currently, he is the coordinator of the Masters in Industrial Safety Management.
