   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Siti Aisyah Shamsudin is a lecturer in Material Science Program from Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her research focuses on synthesizing quantum dots either semiconductor or carbon, making new materials from composition of polymers and rubber also developing supercapasitor from biomass. She is particularly interested in converting the biomass or nature sources to functional materials that can be used in important industries such as water safety or security and also energy sources. However, she emphasis to use the green and safe methods or techniques that could protect the environment while producing the functional products or new novel materials. Recently her work is focused on making the product such as water filter membrane from biomass sources and producing new polymer blends by altering nature rubber using radiation as green technology.
