   Biografi :
  • dr tan ling ling received her first-class honours bsc degree in chemical technology in 2006 and phd degree in chemistry in 2009 in the areas of optical chemical sensor and electrochemical biosensor from universiti kebangsaan malaysia. during her phd study, she attached to national university of singapore for a collaborative research work in the areas of electrochemistry and analytical chemistry. she used to be a technical assistant in the department of reliability and integrity engineering, material, corrosion and inspection section, production and corrosion chemistry unit, petronas carigali sdn bhd-sarawak operations for 2 years. she was a postdoctoral researcher in ukm chemical sensor and biosensor research group in 2011. besides, she has been serving as a senior lecturer in universiti malaysia pahang from 2011-2013. presently she is a senior lecturer/research fellow, and serving as the coordinator of technological hazards programme in southest asia disaster prevention research initiative (seadpri-ukm), institute for environment and development (lestari), ukm. she has 12 years of research experience in the optical and electrochemical sensor/biosensor developments. her research focuses on developing highly sensitive nanoscale analytical devices based on advanced materials and their functionalized derivatives.
