   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Or-Kan, Soh is Senior Lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He was a fellow in National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) in 2015. Over the years, he has taught a range of courses on undergraduate, master`s and PhD programmes, including written communication, academic writing and oral communication strategies. His main areas of research are educational technology (in particular, eyetracking, mobile devices, gaming), reading, assessments, writing, teaching and learning. Currently, he is an editor in PLOS ONE (IF: 2.740) and Sage Open Journal (IF: 0.675). Besides, he is the group leader for Multimedia Literacies Research Group. Or-Kan enjoys supervising research students. He has supervised to completion BA and Master`s students, with several good publications. He welcomes PhD applications from students interested in the following areas: (1) educational technology (use of technology in and/or for language learning and teaching) (2) academic and multilingual writing development (3) testing and assessments (4) reading and writing (use of technology in and/or for teaching or/ and learning the skills) (5) teacher feedback practices and student engagement; (6) educational psychology
