   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Darfizzi Derawi adalah seorang pakar dalam bidang biotenaga, khususnya dalam penghasilan biobahan bakar termaju berasaskan minyak tumbuhan dan bahan-bahan oleokimia. Beliau juga merupakan pengamal keselamatan dan kesihatan pekerjaan, terutamanya bagi pengurusan keselamatan makmal dan bahan kimia. Dr. Darfizzi Derawi sering memberikan kometar melibatkan isu-isu berkaitan pencemaran dan keracunan sisa kimia di media-media arus perdana dan juga majalah saintifik. Beliau juga sangat aktif dalam memberikan khidmat perundingan kepada agensi kerajaan dan sektor swasta melibatkan keselamatan makmal dan juga industri minyak sawit. Beliau sangat aktif dalam menganjurkan program-program berkaitan STEAM di kalangan pelajar-pelajar sekolah, selain berperanan sebagai ketua editor bagi Majalah SciTeh, iaitu merupakan sebuah e-majalah berdaftar dengan Perpustakaan Negara, yang menerbitkan artikel-artikel bacaan umum berkaitan STEM. Dr. Darfizzi Derawi bertekad untuk menjadi salah seorang ilmuan yang dapat menyumbang kepada anak bangsa, negara dan agama.
    Darfizzi Derawi is an expert in the field of bioenergy, particularly in the production of advanced biofuels based on plant oils and oleochemicals. He is also a practitioner in occupational safety and health, especially in laboratory safety management and chemical substances. Dr. Darfizzi Derawi frequently provides commentary on issues related to pollution and chemical waste poisoning in mainstream media and scientific magazines. He is also highly active in providing consultancy services to government agencies and the private sector involving laboratory safety and the palm oil industry. He is deeply involved in organizing STEAM programs for school students, as well as serving as the chief editor for SciTeh Magazine, an e-magazine registered with the National Library, which publishes general-interest articles related to STEM. Dr. Darfizzi Derawi is determined to become a scientist who can contribute to the nation, country, and religion.
