Biografi/ Biography :
Dr Nik Madihah received her early dental education from the University of Newcastle (UK) where she graduated with the Marjorie Lamb and Jackson Long Prize by School of Dental Sciences in 2010. She went on to work with the Ministry of Health Malaysia for four years before joining the Dental Faculty in 2014. She then obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) in 2020 where she received the Book Award by the Malaysian Society of Periodontology. She is currently a lecturer in the Restorative Department, National University of Malaysia. Dr Nik Madihah has published works on the relationship between periodontal disease and systemic diseases, the periodontal phenotype as well as dental education. She is also interested in oral health and hygiene practices in the region.
