Biografi/ Biography :
Dr Chin Kok Yong is a member of the Department of Pharmacology PPUKM since 2015. He has a research interest in the epidemiology of bone health and male ageing, bone metabolism and the use of vitamin E in treating musculoskeletal diseases. He is the author/coauthor of more than 180 journal articles. His h-index currently stands at 31 according to Scopus. He won the Young Investigator Award at the 32nd Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology in 2018, the 5th Asian Federation of Osteoporosis Society Meeting 2017, and 1st International Conference of Advances in Medical Science 2015. He was also a representative of Malaysia to the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting 2015. He currently serves as an academic editor of Journal of Tropical Life Science, associate editor of BMC Public Health, and Research Updates in Medical Science, as well as editorial board member of Medicine & Health. He is also named the Top 1% reviewer by Publon (assorted field) in 2018 and 2017.
