Mohd Shaiful Sajab currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Additionally, he is currently serving as the Head of Sub-discipline (Smart & Sustainable Materials) at the Research Center for Sustainable Process Technology (CESPRO), UKM.
His research is primarily focused on the development of sustainable and functionalized materials derived from local bioresources. He specializes in applications such as water remediation and sustainable additive manufacturing (biodegradable 3D printing filament, biomaterials ink).
