Biografi/ Biography :
Dr Muhammad Syafiq Asyraf bin Rosli graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2014. He then further his study and graduated with Master’s in Science (MSc) in Special Care Dentistry and Advance Clinical Dental Practice in Special Care Dentistry from Kings College London, United Kingdom in 2019. Whilst in United Kingdom, he received training for conscious sedation including Inhalation Sedation (IHS) with Nitrous Oxide, Intranasal Sedation with Midazolam and Intravenous Sedation (IVS) with Midazolam. He is the member of International Association of Disability and Oral Health (IADH) and Malaysia Association of Disability and Oral Health (MADOH). He is the pioneer of Special Care Dentistry in National University of Malaysia (UKM), and he is responsible to develop the clinical dental service for special care patients in Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Malaysia, Hospital Tunku Ampuan Besar Tuanku Aishah Rohani (Hospital Pakar Kanak-Kanak, UKM) and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Mukhriz, National University of Malaysia. He is passionate in research related to oral health inequality among special care patients and barriers to obtain health care services.
