   Biografi/ Biography :


  • Dr Azlan an Emergency Medicine Specialist with significant expertise in cardiovascular emergencies, life support, and medical education. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Medical Sciences at the University of Oxford, focusing on improving diagnostic performance of electrocardiography (ECG) in detecting myocardial injury based on cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) abnormalities in post-COVID-19 patients and assessing arrhythmic risk in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy stages. He is proficient in various advanced clinical and research skills, including advanced ECG interpretation, point-of-care ultrasound life support, cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) and Cardiac Magnetic Resonance image analytics. Dr Azlan`s professional certifications include instructor qualifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), along with certifications in trauma, and ultrasound life support. His memberships in prestigious professional organisations, such as the American Heart Association, Society of Critical and Emergency Sonography and Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, reflect his commitment to the highest standards of clinical care and medical research.
