   Biografi :
  • My research focus was on utilizing active airborne laser measurements (Light Detection and Ranging, LiDAR) to map and understand the effective structural properties of a Malaysian tropical rainforest. For example, forest biomass (amount of carbon stored) and structural complexity which has a strong relation with biodiversity. The model developed from LiDAR helps us understand the complex forest structures and generate accurate forest inventory and also increase productivity (precision forestry) in terms of quality and the overall yield. My current project at IPI investigating the impact of selective logging at Forest Reserve Ulu Jelai, Pahang using Multispectral Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and I also actively involved in several projects such as Oil palm and land use land cover changes using Optical Remote sensing and Geographical Information System (GIS).
