   Biografi/ Biography :
  • Dr. Wong Sok Kuan joined Department of Pharmacology as Post-doctoral researcher in 2019 and as University lecturer in 2020. She has a research interest in osteoporosis and metabolic syndrome as well as the use of tocotrienol in preventing both diseases concurrently. Her research achievement is reflected by her publications with a total of 28 journal articles and her H-index of 10 in Google Scholar. She received Science and Technology Research Grant (RM15,000) awarded by Malaysia Toray Science Foundation (MTSF) in 2018. She also received 3 best poster awards in international and national conferences. She has been selected as a representative of Malaysia to the 70th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (Interdisciplinary), which will be held in 2021. She currently serves as a reviewer for Journal of Functional Foods, BMC Public Health, Journal of Food Biochemistry and Osteoporosis International.
