Biografi/ Biography :
Dr. Puteh Noraihan (dikenali sebagai Dr. Ann) merupakan Pensyarah Kanan di Pusat Pengajian Citra Universiti (CITRA), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Berngalaman selama 15 tahun, penyelidikan beliau cenderung ke arah integrasi sains kemasyarakatan sejarah, sosio-ekonomi) serta adaptasi kepada informatic visual. Beliau dianugerahkan ijazah PhD dari Universiti Malaya serta Sarjana Muda (Kepujian) dan Sarjana Sains Kemanusiaan dari UIAM.
Kekuatan penyelidikan beliau terletak pada keupayaan menterjemahkan naratif kemanusiaan (sosio-budaya) kepada model perniagaan moden. Pencapaian ini terbukti melalui penerbitan berimpak tinggi (WOS-Q1) dalam Emerald Publishing (UK) dan Wiley mengenai Entrepreneurial Cognition and Tech-Adoption Behavior pada tahun 2025. Kepakaran beliau turut diiktiraf sebagai affiliate fellow di Institut Informatik Visual (IVI), UKM. Dr. Ann juga terlibat dalam projek merentas fakulti seperti Fakulti Alam Bina, Institut Kajian Etnik dan Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi yang disifatkan sebagai applied social sciences. Kajian berimpak tinggi termasuklah kajian di lokasi sensitif seperti istana Melayu dan bangunan milik Jabatan Warisan Negara. Di peringkat pentadbiran, beliau berkhidmat sebagai Penyelaras 1 UKMSHAPE-International dan Setiausaha SULAM UKM. Kolaborasi antarabangsa beliau bersama pakar pengurusan perniagaan universiti terkemuka di United Kingdom dalam bidang Digital Humanities telah menghasilkan strategi inovatif seperti Historical Digital Asset Monetization. Dr. Ann bertekad menjadi pemangkin kepada digital humanities demi memastikan warisan Malaysia terus dilestarikan melalui inovasi teknologi terkehadapan. Dr Ann amat mengalukan pelajar dan penyelidik yang ingin menjalankan penyelidikan dan inovasi dalam bidang sains kemanusiaan dan aplikasi kepada kecerdasan buatan.
Dr. Puteh Noraihan, known as Dr. Ann, is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Liberal Studies (CITRA), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). With 15 years of experience, her research focuses on the integration of the social sciences, specifically history and socio-economics, with adaptations for visual informatics. She holds a PhD from the University of Malaya, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) and a Master of Human Sciences from IIUM.
The core strength of her research lies in the ability to translate humanistic narratives into modern business models. This is evidenced by her high-impact publications (WOS-Q1) with Emerald Publishing (UK) and Wiley (2025) concerning Entrepreneurial Cognition and Tech-Adoption Behavior. Her expertise is further recognized through her appointment as an Affiliate Fellow at the Institute of Visual Informatics (IVI), UKM. Dr. Ann is actively involved in various cross-faculty projects with the Faculty of Built Environment (FKAB), the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA), and the Faculty of Science and Technology, focusing on applied social sciences. Her high-impact work includes studies in sensitive locations, such as Malay palaces and monuments under the National Heritage Department of Malaysia. In her administrative capacity, she serves as the Coordinator 1 for UKMSHAPE-International and the Secretary of SULAM at UKM. Her international collaborations with business management experts from leading universities in the United Kingdom within the field of Digital Humanities have yielded innovative strategies, such as Historical Digital Asset Monetization. Dr. Ann is committed to serving as a catalyst in bridging the gap between the humanities and data science, ensuring that Malaysia’s heritage is preserved through cutting-edge technological innovation. She welcomes students and fellow researchers interested in pursuing research at the intersection of the human sciences—specifically in social, cultural, and economic fields—and their applications in artificial intelligence and data
