   Biografi/ Biography :

  • Dr. Nurul Asikin bt Mijan born 31th January 1989, received her PhD from university of Malaya in 2018 and joined University of Putra Malaysia (UPM), as a postdoctoral researcher in Catalysis field. March 2020, she got appointed as lecturer in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Her research and publications focus on catalysis, energy & fuel, oleochemistry and nanotechnology material with special emphasis on biomass conversion technology. Dr. Asikin serve as consultant and a speaker for research writing in several Top QS universities in Malaysia and overseas. She currently serves as an ad-hoc reviewer in several prestigious interdisciplinary journal including: Fuel, Journal of Cleaner production and Bulletin of Chemical Reaction Engineering & Catalyst. Her excellent research experience enables her to assist UM and UPM research group from 2018-2019 and succeeded in obtaining several foundation research grants amounting ~RM500,000. Recipient for prestigious 2018 Tan Sri Ong Kee Hui Postgraduate, four Gold medal and one bronze metal in national and international level competition for energy & fuel research.
