Biografi/ Biography :
Ahmad Azhar obtained his Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery from the University of Tanta, Egypt, and later completed a Master’s in Dental Public Health from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Driven by a passion for periodontology and evidence-based patient care, he pursued advanced specialist training and completed a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) in 2025. In the same year, he obtained a Specialty Fellowship in Periodontics (F Perio) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (RCSEd), further affirming his clinical expertise and commitment to professional excellence. He is a member of the Malaysian Society of Periodontology and his academic and clinical journey reflects a strong foundation in both public health and specialist periodontal practice, with interests spanning oral health literacy, sustainability in dentistry, periodontal regeneration and interdisciplinary approaches to oral health.
